next release…

Hey folks,

the next release is in the pressing plant since yesterday and if everything works out fine, we have them around in october. You can already take a look at some reviews, but all of them are in german language. Sorry for that – they are out of 2006.

after Gavin Portland backed out of the record release, they backed out on the upcoming tour with Laura Mars, seems quite complicated..

Traktor will hit the studio in the next days to record new stuff for their upcoming full length (maybe 2010). In the meanwhile we’ll re-release their 2006 album entitled LIGHTS again on LP (this came out only on CD). About 300 copies co-released with Not Another Record Label from Norway and Superfluous Records from Germany. This is scheduled for late 2009.

if anyone reads this, you’re welcome! as you might recognized the planned full length LP of Gavin Portland from Iceland is cancelled by the band. I don’t want to waste too much words on this..

my friends in LAURA MARS booked some shows in august/september, don’t know yet, if Gavin Portland still coming around, but I guess Laura Mars is on tour for sure.

The Monaco Heartattack 7″ out this week!

Yes! After 5 months, the pressing plant sent out the last records. So now the final pressing info is: 52 clear, 46 clear orange marbled, 156 clear blue marbled.

Maybe the Monaco Heartattack 7" is becoming a miracle. 4 months ago, the record was sent into pressing plant and the guys fucked up the record again and again. Next possibility to get the rest of the 250 copies is beginning of march – that’s so annoying >> the record was planned for 12/08. 

Anyway till now we have 52 clear records, 46 clear orange marbled. It’s like roulette what we get in the 3rd try of the pressing.

Hopefully the pressing plant get this done at the beginning of march.

Delay Delay Delay

Our upcoming release „The Monaco Heartattack – s/t“ 7″ is delayed. We still don’t have the vinyls from the pressing plant; so we hope for a release in january/february.

Back from Berlin

I’m back from Berlin, meeting the guys from Traktor, Daniel from Superfluous Records & Tom & Rich from Yehonala Tapes & the Call Me Betties. It was really sweet. Also i visited about 2 hours some of the best record stores I’ve ever been to. Check out Bis aufs Messer!!!

News

This week the pressing plant wrote me, that they’re possibly maybe able to send the "The Monaco Heartattack" records out in two weeks – means: maybe we have them around for the end of 2008. Covers & stuff are in the making.
